I’m an introvert, but once I get close to someone, I can be really loud. I’m also the only girl among three siblings. I have one older brother and one younger brother, so I’ve become quite independent since my brothers don’t really understand me. Interestingly, I’m very afraid of cats. If one comes near my leg, I might even cry. However, I’m not scared of insects that most people usually fear, such as cockroaches, frogs, and lizards. 😆

During our group role-play project, I collaborated on editing and designing the poster from scratch without using any templates. My group members and I also discussed and decided that each of us would find one main point for the topic “Why we need to study to improve our amal.” The point that I wrote and explained during the presentation was “Knowledge guides our actions.” I explained it by doing some research and reading related articles on the internet.

REFLECTION

Through the usrah program, I gained a wealth of new knowledge about Islam and learned how to deepen my relationship with Allah. The sessions also helped me build ukhuwah with my group members. We supported and reminded each other to do good and improve ourselves. I really enjoyed learning together because it made me feel closer to my friends and more motivated to practice what I’ve learned in daily life.

MY WISH FOR USRAH

I hope in the future, the naqibah can prepare the topics and activities earlier so that the sessions will be more organized and enjoyable. I also wish that usrah will continue to strengthen our bond and increase our understanding of Islam.

I really enjoy joining usrah because it helps me learn new things about Islam in a relaxing way. It’s also a great time to bond with my group members and share our thoughts. Every session makes me feel more positive and closer to Allah. For me, usrah also feels like a short getaway from study stress. It is a moment to slow down, reflect, and find peace while learning something meaningful.
