-Students should be able to explore and deeply interrogate how institutions and power dynamics influence their lives. For instance, the Federal Government gets to decide what labels are required on foods to sell them and what standards foods and drugs need to reach to be salable, and Congress is given that power through the Constitution's Commerce Clause.  
-Students should also be able to question these power dynamics. Should the Federal government have been allowed to stop Roscoe Filburn from growing wheat?
