I’m from Colombia and my main language is Spanish. 

I’m an accounting student at the UNAD University and I also work for the company ESSMAR in the customer service area. 

In my free time I like to hang out with my friends, go to the beach, go dancing or if I feel tired just stay home and watch Netflix before falling asleep.

¿Estudié y aprendí los temas sugeridos del e-Book? Si revise poco a poco el e-book asimilando las lecciones propuestas y los contenidos para mejorar mi conocimiento.

¿Participé en el foro dentro de los tiempos indicados? En estos momentos que empecé a realizar la actividad el foro aún no está disponible, pero participaré en cuanto esté habilitado.

¿Qué aprendí de esta tarea? Aprendí sobre las temáticas que tienen que ver con describirme a mi misma, a mi trabajo, mi apartamento y lugares del mismo, así como vocabulario nuevo que planeo tener en cuenta para seguir mejorando en esta segunda lengua.

¿Es importante lo que estoy aprendiendo? SI es muy importante ¿Por qué? Porque el inglés como segundo idioma aporta mucho en estos tiempos y ofrece un mejor perfil profesional así como una ventana a nuevas y mejores oportunidades. 

¿Cómo aporta este aprendizaje a mi vida personal y profesional? Aporta de manera significativa ayudándome a construir nuevas competencias y habilidades a través del conocimiento de esta segunda lengua y el desarrollo de las actividades con diferentes herramientas como en la que desarrollamos en Padlet. 

About my city…The main touristic places in Santa Marta are often go to Tayrona Park, El Rodadero and Taganga. There are a lot of restaurants of typical food in my city, but people usually pick fried fish with Patacón as the most iconic food. People sometimes like to eat Cayeye as well.

In the other hand, speaking about the main celebrations in my City, there is Festival of the Sea and Caribbean Theatre Festival and other religious celebrations for Saints.

About the activities people can do in my city, there are lots of beaches where people can go scuba Dive, there is Museo del Oro Tayrona or Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, where people usually go to know more about the culture and history, or also go to Minca where foreigns and even people from here enjoy the coffe, the cold river and the relaxing places. Besides, people can enjoy parties at night in Rodadero or Parque de los Novios where there are lots of pubs, discos and places to party or have some drinks.
