(Homer: 953)
2.The plot point in this story is ordinary world because he is sailing where he is from. "My home is on the peaked sea mark of Ithaca sailing there forth" (Homer:953)
3.A Greek value followed in this is honoring death shown as "No ship made sail next day until some shipmate had raised a cry, three times, for each poor ghost unfleshed by the cicones on that field." (Homer: 954)
4. A characteristic showed is being honorable as long as it being a Greek value. "That evening we pulled away from death" (Homer 954)

1. The role of the gods in The Land Of The Dead is Circe telling him the place. "Took our way through the way along the ocean stream to find the way foretold by Circe" (Homer:973)
2. The Plot point is Crossing the threshold. since they guided him on how to get home "When you make landfall on Thraciana first and quiet the violet sea." (Homer:973)
3. The Greek values used in this episode would be bravery, Since he constantly spoke up. "Then i addressed him, gazing apon his abnormally large body." (Homer:971)
4. Intelligence flaw is shown in the land of the dead because as he is leaving he yells to the cyclops "Polyphemus, i do have a name, I am ruler of ithaca." (Homer:97

1. A god who plays a big role is Poseidon since he grants Polyphemus's wishes of a curse. " O hear me lord, blue girlder, of the islands, grant that Odysseus raider of the cities never sees his home". (Homer:110)
2. Plot point for this episode is the test when he faces a enemy " I drove my big hand spike into the embers of his eye."(Homer:105)
3. A Greek value shown in this episode is intelligence. "The choicest of the flock I choose and hung myself under his belly" (Homer:107)
4.Characteristics shown is fearlessness, having the guts to still have plan in a bad situation. " you think i might be such a fool, but i kept thinking how to win the game." (Homer:106)

1.The role of the gods in this episode is Circe foretelling the men to put wax in there ears so they do not fall for the sirens. "Circe foresaw and told us" (Homer:975)
2. The plot point for this episode is a test. Since him and his men are faced against huge temptations. “as I was against the stern the harsh elements dazed me and I couldn’t stop but screaming to my men who had tightened it “they tied me up, then plump, amidships.” (Homer:997)
3. A Greek value followed was loyalty. “My loyal companions had listened, they sat their and payed the oars.” (Homer:998). That showed they had listened.
4.A characteristic by Odysseus and his men but mainly him shown was courage. Since he had to courage to stay on the front and endure the sirens. “Going forward they had tied me up” (Homer:977)

1.Zeus has the main role of helping in this episode as Odysseus had asked. “Zeus help us pull away before we founder.” (Homer:979) and helped them from dying.
2. The plot point again is another test. As they’re being tested for their lives. “She ate them as they shrieked there in her den. “ (Homer:978)
3.A Greek value followed in my opinion would be loyalty as he followed tyreceus advise and stayed to the farthest side. “Rocks we’re behind, Charybdis too and Scylla had as well” (Homer:980)
4. A characteristic portrayed would be fearlessness as whenever the monster had ate a man of his, he would not freakout and be brave about it. “Scylla made her strike, grabbing six of my men, I hear voices form high above calling my name but we moved on farther and farther.” (Homer:980)

1.The role of the gods in this episode is mainly Zeus again since he sailed them there. “And heavy clouds from Zeus haulted us to this land.”(Homer:980)
2. The plot point in this episode is yet another test since the test was not to eat the cattle. “ we had flayed every carcass there, cutting every thighbone and eating” (Homer:981)
3. A Greek Value shown here is loyalty being broke by his men since they ate the cattle. “With strips of meat laid on the fire.” (Homer:982)
4. A characteristic shown is that believing and having good faith in someone always is the best because they know what’s best for you. “No more sea farting no more sweet day of return to Ithaca.” (Homer:985)

1.The gods role here would be Zeus and Athena both helping him get back to his home land Ithaca like he has wanted to get to since he left his ordinary world. "Athena and Zeus arm has been around us." (Homer:998)
2.The plot point for this episode is ordeal because its not really a challenge it is more of something just happening.
3. A Greek value shown would be honesty, because Odysseus was honest too his kid. "No no no, I am your father not a god." (Homer: 996)
4. A characteristic shown would be understanding, since Telemachus listened to him and understood him. "Dear father it is you! tell me of what vessel they put you ashore." Odysseus is still a beggar thanks to the role of Athena, " Still disguised as a beggar."(Homer:1003) he does this not to be seen yet.
2.The suitors is a ally in the plot point because they might not be liked but they sure are not trying to kill Penelope and to the knowledge they have he is dead.
3. The Greek value showed is the power of the gods. "A poor show... bad business you know they come in many forms to keep a eye on the mortals." (Homer:1002)
4. A characteristic showed is pure loyalty. shown here as "No plain, no burden for the heart when bows come to a man, and defending his own cattle." (Homer:1002)
