         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ismail Samani is the highest peak in Central Asia. It's streams supply water to the cotton, rice, and fruit farms. A fun fact is that it was named after Ismail Samani, who was a Persian Muslim leader the Samanid Dynasty. He united the surrounding tribes and turned the Samanid Dynasty into a regional power.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ashgabat is the capital and largest city of Turkmenistan. It is also the cultural center for that area. One fun fact about Ashgabat is during a bright, sunny day, the center of the city shines a bright white due to the white marble. Ashgabat  holds the Guinness World Record for having the highest density of marble buildings.</div>]]></description>

One fun fact is that under the Samanid dynasty, the city was known as Binkath. The Turkic name of Tashkent (City of Stone) comes from Kara-Khanid rule in the 10th century.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Karakum Desert takes up most of the area(about 70%) which causes the population to be much less than its neighboring areas. Karakum means black sand. One fun fact is that it is home to something called the Darvaza Gas Crater. Also called the "Door to Hell" or the "Gates of Hell", it crates natural gasses that have been burning since 1971.</div>]]></description>

Uzbekistan is one of the world’s largest cotton producers, making it 6th overall. Uzbekistan is a double landlocked country meaning the surrounding countries are also landlocked. It is also home to the Arel sea which was of great importance too the Soviets.<br><br></div>]]></description>
