All the other slave girls despise her because she is different. One day the Pharaoh has a giant party and Rhodopis isn't allowed to go. Horus, the god of the sky, sees this and takes her slipper to the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh knows this is a sign and goes in search of the woman who's foot fits in the slipper. The Pharaoh searches and searches until he finally finds Rhodopis. One day the goddess of mercy appears to tam and gives he a magic fish. Tams mother finds out and kills the fish. The goddess of mercy then appears again and tells tame to berry the fish bones under her bed. One day the king throws a giant party and everyone is invited, but Tam must stay home. Again the goddess of mercy appears, now she gives tam a beautiful dress. When her evil stepmother begins to recognize her at the party Tam runs away, but looses her slipper. The king then finds and marries Tam. One day Tam goes back to celebrate her fathers anniversary, but while shes there Tam is killed.
