Why:I love Miss Russell's books because she writes alot of hilarious,dramatic diaries(Dork diaries series).
And now she has illustarted a new series which I am looking forward reading them.She puts in these hilarious jokes,words and stories.Whenever I read one of her book,I get fustrated by wanting to read them.The Locker hero one had alot of mystery going on and weird scens.

Why:I gave this book a 7 because wo couldever think of human bean eating giant's name?I didn't give this book as much higher score like others it is because Mr Dhal used nonsense vocabulary which I didn't really understand.Catching dreams are hilarious and Roald Dhal did name a giant eating cucumber snozzcumber so I kind of felt funny.

Summary:This hilarious book is about a 11 year old boy who has a granny with white hair,false teeth,using tissues tucked up her sleeve and who is,surprisingly,an international jewel thief!!How did he know??Well his parents who admire watching a T.V show called Strictly Stars Dancing is having a show on the stage on Friday so Ben is forced to be in his granny's.Why he hated to be in an old ladies house is because,granny literally adores playing Scrabble and makes every food with CABBAGES!On approximately 9 o'clock,while granny was weary ans fell asleep,Ben searched the storage to help him selff when he knocked down a big basket full of crowns,jewels and cash!As he stared at it he became curious,very curious.So he persuaded his mother to wait at home while he figures out where his old granny,who never came out of home,got all of this shimmering objects.This is when the adventure starts,not only GANGSTA GRANNY but GANGSTA GRANNY and BEN.

Why:David Williams is the 'hilarious NUMBER ONE best selling author.I also admitt that he is one of them.Who would actually came out without someone called Gangsta Granny.I don't think so.He  never uses reputition and I think he makes the reader wnating to read the end(rest) of this story.

Why: I gave it a 4 because this book's jokes weren't hilarious at all.I didn't feel like reading this book after few first pages.I've only learn't abit more deeper into the formular of pi,but nothing else!

Summary:It all started normal but when Mr Spud invented something called the Bummfresh loo rolls.He earned billions,trillions, a lot of wonga.He had a fat son,just like him called Joe Spud.Got everything what he wants.Hundreds of sports cars,every week 200 thousand pounds pocket money,wicked, isn't it?He also went to the poshest school in his town.The negative thing was that Joe had everything what he wants but a friend.Gets bullied by the popular ones.One day he told his father he would like to go to anoother school,a normal school.Mr Spud stared at him weirdly.As if he was doing a one minute mute challenge or something.Then he said,"We are rich,boy.".Joe didn't care, he just wnated to be normal like every one else.Then he went to a school called St Cuthberts.

In his new school he finally met a friend just like him,Bob.He looked exactly like a pig,even much worse.Although his new friend wasn't perfect Joe still have been his best friend until a girl called Lauren came.She was as beautifull as a rose,and was very kind.

Joe wanted to keep a secret that he is rich.David Williams!!!!

Summary:This horror story is about a boy whos has lost his mother from a long time ago and is left with his poor father.He was too sick he could barely go outdoors.On the other hand,Alfie,the boy,has a really rotten teeth and is forced to be going to the dentist by himself.He hated going to the dentist,one time,doctor wa trying to pull his non-wobbly tooth out without any tools but ended up pulling the wrong tooth out.After that incident,Alfie did not dare to go to the dentist,letters kept on coming to his house,he had to hid them somewhere.
One day at his school,a visitor came.With such thick make-up ,the women looked ugly.Her name was Ms.Root,the bad thing was she was a dentist doctor also.She wanted the children to call her mummy,freaky isn't it??She had give children weird sweets and burning toothpaste.
Afteer,Ms.Root was chosen for the school dentist,weird things was happening.Children would put their toothe under their pillow waiting for the tooth fairy to come by and swap it with cash but in the morning they would wake up and find a dead slug,a live spider,hundreds of earwigs.
It is Alfies job to find who is doing this.

Summary:Do you know who this person with the long sideburns?Yep, it is the King of Rock n Roll,Elvis Presely!!Everyone knows he is extremely rich but before he was very poor when he was young.He was born in his house,his mother Glayds gave birth in a poor house.Once his father Vernon got locked up in jail.
However,with his mum,Elvis went around and sang infront of people with his talented voice.Then he started to wear clothes which was weird,but fited him.Then in the 1950s,he sang a song called Hound dog.Very popular.Every one loved him,especially the girls,after his show they would creep through the window where Elvis Presely is resting then rip his shirts down and try to pull his pants down.People,especiall parents didn't like their kids to see Elvis actually dancing like mental.elvis disagreed.He didn't think it was impropriet.He was just dancing how he felt like.
Around the 190s,when Elvis didn't have any songs out,the Beatles suddenly became famous,Elvis was soo angry when the beatles visited his house,he didn't dare talk to them.
Then he grew fatter and unhealthier,he was also devoursed.Then one night he went to pla rachuetball.He couldn't fall asleep so some weird person gave him some sleeping drugs then was found dead inside the toilet.

Why:I wanted to read this book because during musiclesson we learnt about him and I wanted to know more about him.I didn't know he was such a poor little boy who became the best of Rock n Roll.It was fascinating getting to know him

(Short Summary of some of the books)

 Every once a year,on a mysterious autumn evening,a great White horse comes thundering moor over  of the moonlight.(White Horse)

There are also  the tin old miners(not really sure if that is what they call) that Cherry meets when she is always cut off by the incoming tide.(The Giant's necklace)

and Limping Billy ,whom is a child and always gets taunt by aother children that learns swimming with the seals,and finally gets to join them.(Gone to sea)

Why: OMG,this story is lit!!!! This author uses variety of excellent vocabulary that actually blown my mind! But why did I give it a 8,because it wasn't funny,I enjoy 
reading funny books more tthan more immature books.
