ADAB IN LEARNING KNOWLEDGE

Seeking knowledge is a noble act of worship. Therefore,humans will look at people who are civilized. Anyone who has knowledge certainly has manners. As a knowledge seeker, we must have some of this criteria. for instance , sincere intentions for God's sake . I have learnt that we cannot expect reciprocation and praise from people except from our lord (Allah). Second, we must respect and honor to teacher. As a student , we must respect to our knowledge giver to get the blessing. In addition , we must be humble with everyone without judge their academic because we have been in their situation. Last but not least , we must maintain a relationship with God such as increase circumcision worship to him. In a nutshell , as a students and as a muslim , we must look in more detail about our adab in seeking knowledge.

AL-QURAN IS THE BOOK OF GUIDANCE

The Quran describes itself as a book of guidance for humankind (2:185).

As a muslim, we must believe in islam and dont ever try to doubt the power of Allah. We all know that Alquran is a guidance for us , so we must take a good care of it. We also have the adab with Alquran . As example, do not put the Quran below where we are because it is a disrespect. Lastly , we should prefer to alquran first before we do something, we must follow the task from alquran and do the sunnah that is mentioned in the quran .

suggestion:

maybe we can share some stories about prophets and islam . So that we can applying the sunnah practices done by the prophet and the teachings of Islam

this week we have learned about the pillars of islam.

First of all , we learnt about hadis jibril. Hadis jibril one of hadis 40 . There is four aspects from this hadis. these four aspects are iman , islam , ihsan and signs of doomsday.

second, we have learnt why we must care of the pillars of islam . did you know why?

as we learned, some of the reasons are to strenghten the bone between the god and human.Other than that ,we can strenghten brotherhood with others regardless of races and religion.In addition, we can purify ourself and avoid from doing major sins. Lastly, it can make us as a true servant .

Last but not least, we have learnt some manners of seeking knowledge from the hadis.For example, we must refer to a more pious person. Nest , we cannot be shy if we have some questions . when we seeking knowledge , we cannot be shy to ask the question that we didnot even know the answer and we must ask it to avoid any assumptions. We should emulate the Ansar women who were praised by the prophet for their high desire to seek knowledge.

by the way , after the usrah session ends , we play some quiz in quizziz app about the pillars of islam .and we share some stories about the prophets. we have so much fun on that dayy !!!

the title of our usrah this week is the pillars of iman.

we learned about having faith in God, angels and the Book of Books.

first of all, having faith in god.This is the main thing to all muslims . For instance , Examining God from the point of view of divinity . This is what we call as rububiyah . After that , we also learn about uluhiyah . uluhiyah is we believe that there is no god except allah. its means he is the one .lastly , we must believe Allah has its own attributes and names.

next , we learned about having faith in angels .our facilitator had shown us a video about the angels.. they have some shift of their works .

last but not least , we learned about having faith in kitab. As we know, there are four kitab . Taurat , zabur , injil and alquran . all of theese kitabs, was revealed to the Prophet and Messenger through Jibril ..

thats all for this week . till we meet in another session next week !!!

the pillars of iman.

in this week , we learned about the pillars of iman in last three aspects.

first of all , believe in the apostle. As muslim and as a muslim , we should obey to our messenger. we all know that our messenger is prophet Muhammad . therefore , we should make Rasulullah as our role model because of his attitude.

some of his attitude are :

1.siddiq

2.amanah

3.tabligh

4. fathonah

second , we learned about judgement day or well known as yaum al qiamah.

the facilitator told us that in this world , allah knows better . He knows what happen in the pasts , today and future . Allah also knows something that happen and what will happen if something happens.the faci also shows us some videos about judgement day.

last but not least , believe in Qada' and qadar . even we pronoun qada' first , but qadar comes first before qada' . qadar is our destiny that has written in lauhul mahhfuz . Qada' is something that happen in our life according to fate . in this pillar of iman also , the faci shows us some videos.

as conclusions , we have learned about the last three pillars of iman successfully. the stories were interesting !!! till we meet again next week yall .

Eschatology means resurrection day.

meanwhile , Ihsan means a matter of taking one's inner faith (iman) and showing it in both deed and action.

As additional knowledge , Ihsan repeated 211 times in quran !!

To gain ihsan , we must be a muhsin . There a some criteria to be a muhsin .

First of all , we must spread kindness to others . For instance give help to who in needs .Secondly, we must give as much as possible . For example , give some charity as much as you can to the poor . Lastly , we must spread it because of god .

There a three prophet that we can make as our role model .

= Prophet Nuh AS

= Prophet Nuh spread the da'wah in about 900 years and plus .But his followers only 80 ummahs .At last Prophet Nuh asked god to removed everything .

=Criteria that are proof Prophet Nuh as a muhsin are :

1. He spread da'wah to his ummah

2. He spread kindness even his followers very low

3. He do the da'wah because the command of allah

= Prophet Ibrahim AS

= Prophet Ibrahim has a speciality from kids . he can think a lot far . He did not worship to something that did not stay longer such as days and night . He keep thinking until he found the real god ( Allah )

The muhsin in Ibrahim that we can follow are :

1. He destroyed idols

2. He asked his dad to not worshipping in the wrong path

3. He obey to allah to kill his son by himself and he did it because of allah.

= Prophet Yusof AS

Prophet yusof's dad which is Prophet Yaakub had dreamed about Prophet Yusof untill he put more focus on him . This matter made the siblings jealous of him and make him fall into a well.He was sold and Zulaikha bought him in the market.Zulaikha also try to seduce him but he refuse .

The goodness that we can follow are :

1. Prophet Yusof refuses when zulaikha tried to seduces him

2. He do the command of allah and obey to him

3. Prophet yusof stored the wheat for 7 years because carefully.

In conclusions , we must do the good deeds to improve ourselves till we can be a muhsin.

suggestion to improve : -

hikmah and ibadah are closely related things in our lives.

This title shows that hikmah is a mixture of knowledge and action.For example, if we have the knowledge but didn't put it into practice, the hikmah wont come true.And ,if we act for something without our knowledge, hikmah wont come true. It's not enough to know whether is good or not but not put it into practice.This matter can cultivate emotional intelligence.

• hikmah and ibadah closely related to worship allah with understanding

as we know, ibadah have its purpose . As a muslimwe should correct perfomance of ibadah .When we learn the methods of ibadah, we will know where are the errors located.Also, we can get the benefit such as thoughtfulness.

the, we must set our niat sincerely.it is becase we perform for seek of allah not to shows it off. we must also purify our niat fully to allah because niat is an unseen thing by people and only allah can sees it.

first of all, the purpose of creation is to worship allah as mentioned in surah al dzariyat(51:56).

firstly ,prayer . as mentioned in quran , surah al ankabut (29:45). prayer is instill awareness of allah. and attributes from prayers are ikhlas , fear of allah and rememberance of allah. second , fasting. fasting develops of taqwa , empathy and discipline. and we can weakening shaitans influence. after that , zakah is to purify wealth and self.from zakah we can get some benefits such as cleanses sins and supports the needy.last but not least , hajj.hajj discipline believers to follow allah's commandments.and the etiquettes from hajj are avoid indecent acts and stay devoted to worship allah.

solat is the first thing that will be question in the judgement day. and the first thing that will be judge is about our solat.if your solat in a good way , so that's didnt matter. but if your solat still in the wrong phase , thats the problem and all of your good deeds mean nothing.

to makesure our solat is better we must care about taharah. first of all the body parts.There should not be any najasah or impurity on his body.second , the clothing.make sure our cloth to bring in our solat is clean from any impurity. thirdly , the place where prayer be offered. makesure the places are clean and we can perform our solat there.

therefore, khusyu' is important because it makes solat meaningful and spiritually fulfilling. we can achieve khusyu' from Prepare mentally and physically.last but not least, Purify intentions, perform wudu', wear clean attire

salah is The cornerstone of a Muslim’s daily life, a connection with Allah. while khusyu' is A state of humility and focus in prayer,

essential for spiritual success.The virtues of performing salah with khusyu' are taah , jihad , tawaddhu' , muhasabah and iffah.

taah is total obedience to Allah’s commands.jihad is Striving for Allah’s cause,

spiritually and morally. while tawaddhu' is Acknowledgment of one’s position as a servant of Allah.next, muhasabah is Self-accountability and self-contemplation . lastly iffah is Modesty/self-restraint

from sinful behaviour.

Fasting is a form of worship that has been practiced by many religions before the arrival of Prophet Muhammad.Fasting is also practiced by Hindus and Buddhists as a way to control their spiritual strength and achieve "nibbana" (inner peace).Muslims are obligated to fast during the month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.

the wisdom of fasting :

• Fasting helps individuals control their desires, as this act of worship purifies the body and narrows the path of Satan

• Fasting also teaches a person to avoid sinful acts such as gossiping, foul speech, and lying.

Allah SWT grants rukhsah (concession) to those who are sick or traveling, allowing them to break their fast and make it up on another day.

The Greatness and Takbir of Eid al-Fitr
After a month of fasting, Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr by reciting takbir, glorifying the greatness of Allah SWT.

The Virtues of Fasting:

1. Sabr (Patience and Perseverance)

2. Takrim (Honor and Dignity)

3. Rahmah (Compassion and Gentleness)

sabr :refers to the act of controlling one's desires to maintain self-discipline, such as restraining anger or remembering Allah SWT to stay composed.

There are three types of sabr in fasting:

1. Patience in obedience to Allah SWT, such as enduring hunger, thirst, and fatigue while fasting.

2. Patience in avoiding what Allah SWT has forbidden, such as refraining from eating, drinking, and other prohibited acts during fasting.

3. Patience in enduring hardship and enjoying blessings, such as feeling hunger during the day and experiencing joy at the time of breaking the fast.

Takrim (Honor and Dignity:

In Islam, fasting is considered a noble act and highly blessed by Allah SWT. It not only enhances self-discipline but also brings a person closer to Allah SWT.

The concept of takrim (honor and dignity) in fasting involves:

1. Obedience to Allah SWT’s commands
   By fasting, a person demonstrates their loyalty and submission to Allah SWT’s commandments.

2. Seeking closeness to Allah SWT
   Fasting is an act of worship that helps strengthen faith and spirituality.

rahmah :mercy or compassion. Fasting is seen as a way to cultivate various qualities of mercy
