2. Which branch do you think is the foundation of the others? Why?

I believe Epistemology is the foundational branch. Before exploring what exists Metaphysics, we must first understand how we can know anything at all. Epistemology examines the nature of knowledge, justification, and belief. Without a framework for evaluating truth, exploring reality becomes speculative. Therefore, understanding how we know is a necessary precursor to any other philosophical pursuit.
