And the ham was finally taken down and the crowds erupted into chaos. Bounty of tomatoes were getting thrown at me and I could taste the acidity on the surface of my lips. As I was in the midst of the battlefield, i could feel the shoulders of other people rubbing against my body. We were packed like sardines when the truck started to move. As the time elapsed, the crowds has died down. I could clearly see that the town was painted red and the fleshy pulps of the toamatos were scattered on the walls. Innocent bystanders would join in with the euphoria that erupted into chaos. I can’t help but be part of this beautiful mess that was La Tomatina festival. The minute I stepped into the arena, my body was awashed with red like substance that soaked through my clothing and dampened my skin. Everyone was chanting simultaneously.Once the bounty of tomatoes were deployed. It was a every man for himself and erupted into chaos . Within a short five minutes , the whole town was painted with red fleshy pulp . The aromatic smell of the cheap tomatoes filled the buzzing air of the streets of Spain. Many people were chaotically throwing tomatoes at each other like there was no tomorrow. I could hear the squashing of the tomatoes with the sound of people screaming of joy. There was a mild taste if the disgusting squashed tomatoes in my mouth . There was many tomatoes still slowly sliding down the freshly painted walls . As I walked across the tomatoes filled roads my feet were soft sticked to tomatoes
