Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their actions. This is a fundamental belief of mine and a cornerstone of how I interact with others on a daily basis.

2.) I also believe in being HONEST and TRUTHFUL. This means being honest with others and also with myself. I think being honest and truthful is important for several reasons. First, it’s the right thing to do. It’s important to be honest with people because it’s a basic respect for them as human beings. Secondly, honesty can help build trust. If we’re honest with each other, it’s easier to trust each other and that can make relationships stronger. Finally, I think being honest with ourselves is very important. We should stay true to who we are and not try to be someone we’re not. If we’re honest with ourselves, it can help us lead happier and more fulfilling lives.

3.) One of my core values is to always try to BE POSITIVE. I understand that life can be tough and that there are plenty of negative things in the world. However, I actively choose to focus on the positive and look for the good in every situation. This value is essential to me for a few reasons. First, it helps me maintain a healthy outlook on life. When I focus on the positive, it's easier for me to be grateful for what I have and identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Additionally, this value helps me be a more supportive and encouraging friend, family member, and coworker. When I'm positive, I can better motivate and inspire those around me. Finally, this value simply makes me happier. When I choose to focus on the good, I'm more likely to have a joyful outlook on life.

4.) I think it's essential to constantly be growing and learning and to never stop trying to BE THE BEST VERSION of ourselves. Whether it's learning new things or working on personal development, I think it's important to always strive to be better. I taught myself this lesson early on, and it's something that I always keep in mind.

I also enjoy being in a band. I have been in a band for four years. My role is usually a pianist, but I can also be the rhythm guitarist. I love singing and performing with my bandmates. Performing on stage and making people happy with my playing brings me a tremendous amount of joy. I also love the creative process of composing and arranging music. It is very fulfilling to be able to create something beautiful that didn't exist before.

I am also a journalist. I love writing and sharing stories. I have been a journalist since I was in 4th grade. My main category is Sports Writing - English. I have won a lot of competitions and joined Division School Press Conference (DSPC) and Regional School Press Conference (RSPC) many times. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. I also like researching and learning new information. My relationship with my friend is good. We don't talk about politics much after I correct him, but we get along well otherwise. I think this is because we share some core values, despite having different political views. One value that we share is a commitment to honesty. Whether we are discussing politics or anything else, we are both committed to being honest with each other. This has led to some interesting conversations as we challenge each other to justify our positions. Another value that we share is a sense of humor. What followed was a back-and-forth argument that lasted for several hours. It wasn't until after I had cooled down that I realized how this disagreement had affected my relationship with this person. Before, I had looked up to them and respected their opinion. But now, after this disagreement, I found myself questioning everything they said. I was no longer sure if I could trust their judgement. It took some time, but eventually I was able to rebuild my relationship with this person. We started by finding common ground and agreeing to disagree on the things we didn't see eye-to-eye on. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it.

Disagreements are a natural part of life, and they can actually be helpful in some ways. They give us an opportunity to learn more about the other person's perspective and to open our own minds to new ideas. Additionally, disagreements can help to strengthen our relationships, provided that we handle them in a constructive way. Of course, there are also times when disagreements can lead to arguments and hurt feelings. But if we can remember that we don't have to agree with someone on everything in order to respect them, we can often avoid these negative outcomes. When I am using someone else's ideas, I make sure to properly cite them in order to avoid plagiarism. If I am ever in doubt about whether or not I am plagiarizing, I will consult with a copyright expert to get clarification.

Another way I will apply what I have learned about intellectual property rights is by ensuring that I am not infringing on the rights of others.
