Hello!
My name is Maria Jimenez. I was born in El Salvador. When I was 3 years old my family moved to Los Angeles. I was raised in The North East side of Los Angeles in small neighborhood called Chinatown. I moved to Lincoln heights when I was in high school. Most of my young life I lived in LA. 
I currently live in Upland with my little family of 4 plus our dog. I have 2 children a 3 year old and a 13 year old. I worked for LAUSD for 10+ years. I was a Teacher Aide at a preschool. I want to continue my education and earn my BA in Child Development to become a teacher. I want to better my future for my 2 children. I hope to inspired them one day.

My Hobbies

I mostly spend my free time with my family. We like to take walks to the park, go hiking and go for a swim during the summer. We also like to go out to events like Disney on ice, Monster truck, museums and amusement parks.
I like sports! The Lakers and Dodgers are forever my teams.
I also like to make handmade bows. A small business I have started that was inspired by my daughter.

Six Flags

I took my cousin from El Salvador to Six Flags. It was her first time at six flags and she loved it. You can’t see her in the picture because she is too far but she wanted a picture with the whole Goliath sign.
