The sensory language really gave me a picture of what your main character was doing. I liked that even though you immediately put the character into action, the story seemed slowed down and was easy to process. I also liked how you compared the speaker to Annabeth’s mom as an elephant to a mouse while also adding personification. I really liked it when you did it because it really emphasized how loud the speakers were while you played the song. It also showed how you could barely hear Annabeth’s mom even though she was yelling. Although the beginning of your story was really good, a suggestion I have is that you should try to break down the moment more and describe more of what is happening.
