First, we must talk about Álvaro and Gervasia, married and fathers of 4 childrens. The oldest one was my grandfather, Marcial López Muñoz, who was born in Valdecaballeros, Badajoz province, on July 28, 1927.

He went to school until the age of 11 years. He always tell us, to my brother and me, that we must study a lot of in order to be ready for taking advantage the opportunity to learn as much as possible because it helps us in our life.

Unfortunatelly he couldn’t study as he would like, because the war.

When he was 12 years old, his father Alvaro died in the civil war. After this misfortune, he had to left the scholl and he began to work.

At that time he hadn’t many toys and the worst was, he hadn’t time to play. One of the moment prefered by my grandfather, was when at night in front of the fire, the family together told stories about people that the oldest knew since many years ago.

He worked tending sheep and in agricultural tasks, such as sowing, mowing and storing pastures for animals until he was 18 years old.

Finally at the age of 18 he went to do the militar service to Alcalá de Henares.

We must always respect our elders by everythingl that they have lived and how they have lived.

Here is a recently picture with my grandfather and my brother. We don't have a lot of pictures when he was young because, his family doesn't have much money.

Who is she? My grandmother, yes, she is my grandmother, she was born on the 20th February of 1934 (so now she is 82 years old)and she was the most little sister of her family; her two brothers were bigger than her. She was born in one little village of Ciudad Real (Castilla La Mancha). When she was born, this village was really depopulated, but over time, it has become one of the most importants villages of Ciudad Real.

In former times, she used to go to school, as us. However, she didn’t learn the same things that we learn nowadays; she used to sew, and also she learnt how to write and read. Some subjects, such as mathematics or history were the same, but other, like English or French (basically the languages) didn’t exist. In addition, the schools weren’t mixed, therefore boys were in one class and girls in another; and that is the reason why both of them learnt different things.

On the other hand, my grandmother used to have fun with her friends and sometimes, with her brothers; Antonio and Marcos. She used to play football, basketball, hide-and-seek, skipping rope, yoyos etc, these are games that actually we continue playing, but there are other, such as “pedritas or replantao” that are totally forgotten.

Finally, finish saying that things has changed a lot between the 40s more or less to now, we can see it reflected in their entertainments, because the didn´t have mobiles phones, televisions, computers etc, besides in their transports; my grandmother used to go to all places walking or in mules and the simple act of open a tap and see water didn’t exist; as a consequence, they needed to take the water from wells.

Hi, I am Rosario and I am going to talk about the most wonderful person ever, my grandmother Rosario, but everybody calls her Charo. She was born the 11th of March in 1946, in a small village called Riglos (Huesca).

On the one hand things have changed a lot, my grandmother started school when she was six years old. They only had one book with all their subjects, and they had a teacher who was in charge of teaching the girls math, lenguage and science in the morning and in the afternoon how to sew and do their chores. She finished school when she was fourteen years old, and she had to help her parents with the lands because they were landowners.
When she was only nineteen years old she was already an independent woman who worked for a really important fashion designer. She had to work while she was getting her title for being a dressmaker.
She got married when she was twenty-one years old, although it took her a while, finally she got the chance to make her dream of opening her own store come true when she was twenty eight years old and she travelled around Europe, visiting places like London or Switzerland.

On the other hand, there are things that she used to do that nowadays I still like to do for example hanging out with my friends or talking all they long.

In conclusion, things have progressed, some in a positive way like having the chance of having more education and others in a negative way, like spending more time playing video games instead of being with our friends.

Hello, I'm Víctor and I'm going to talk about my grandfather Ramon, he was born on the 27th of April of 1935 (now, he have 85 years old), when he was little there were two brothers and one sister, now there are two, the sister of my grandfather that is Florita, but we call she Flori.

My grandfather born in the war and his childhood he lived with a lot of scary, he married with my grandmother, her name is Rosario, but we call her Charo.

They have four childs, three boys and one girl. He was a draftman, and he work in a company, he work from 25 to 50 years old, when he married he went to La Elipa to live with my grandmother, in there they had 2 childs (Antonio and Ramon), now they live in the Barrio de la Concepción, and in here they had other 2 childs (Santi and Charo, my mother)

Hi, I'm going to talk about my grandfather Vicente Torres Cunill, who a year and a half ago wrote a book about his childhood.
The book is called: Experiences of a Pínfano.
The summary of the book is this: Vicente Torres Cunill is Colonel in a situation of retired Army. In this first foray into the world of literature, narrates in an autobiographical way his experiences during childhood and his first steps in the Spanish Army.
Vicente's life takes a radical turn when, at the age of 7, he joins the Army Orphans' College in Padrón (Galicia). He is separated from his mother and his three older brothers, whom he leaves in Barcelona and whom he will only see during the summer periods. Little could he imagine that he would be in this situation fourteen years, until his entry into the A.G.M. of Zaragoza.
Surrounded 24 hours a day by companions of age, origin and characters so different, learned to overcome difficulties with skill and ingenuity. Soon he adapted to his new situation. The boarding school became his new family and began to develop in it as a fish in the water.
This life of boarding school served him to face the military life, already in adulthood. For example, when he is assigned for three years in the territory of Spanish Sahara (El Aaiún), in his time as active Lieutenant. In this his last "boarding school", the knowledge and skills acquired previously served him to solve difficult situations and sets, in a simple way, giving rise to fun situations.

Hi, today i’m going to talk about the stronger person ever my grandfather Jose Arcones Barroso, but in the village everybody calls he “pepe el escurre”, el escurre Is my familys nickname. He was born the 8^th of September in 1937, he born in navafria, in the segovian side of the guadarrama mountains.

He grew up in navafria in a difficult time, in navafria they cultivate potatoes, barley and oats, he born when the Spanish civil war starts, later the war in this zone (east of Segovia) they are too poor, the eats to many potatoes, they cooked the `potatoes in many ways, they cooked in copper cauldrons, in the village everybody studied since 5 years old to 14 years old, but my grandfather studied since 5 years old to 18 years old, also with 14 years old he enter in a carpenter workshop like apprentice, when he was 15 years old his father died, he received money working in the workshop, he maintained al his family working like carpenter, when he has 16 years old he meet a special person in his life, my grandmother, they were like boyfriends two years, but when my grandfather has 18 years old he went to colonia to learn with other german carpenters, he was 5 years in colonia, 2 without my grandmother and 3 with my grandmother, when they come to spain they get married and they come to live to madrid, they had 1 son and 1 daughter, a few years ago they have their gold weddings

Hi now I go to talk about of my grandfather childhood, his name is Felix Asensio, he born in Plasensia that is a town of Extremadura. My grandpa had five siblings and one mother but the father of my grandpa die in the war, my grandpa told that he usually play with his siblings in the park with the ball or he help his mother with the homework and when he was young and the civil war is ending my grandpa went to Galia lonely, because was the only way at my grandpa can study in an orphanage, my grandpa said me that in the school did had bulbs and he study with lantern next when finish the school, he went to Madrid and he did and he did the teaching career.

Im going to talk about my aunt. She was born in the 25th of March in Colombia .She is married with a Swedish called Marcus. She is the only sister in her family . She is younger than my father and older than my uncle . She is doctor in Aspetar , an important hospital in Qatar, she is a sport doctor that’s mean than she cure the athletes , she works with the Real Madrid , atlético del Madrid and with the benfica that it’s a team of Portugal , but in aspetar she is only a general doctor. Noww she is pregnant and she is expecting a baby , it’s supposed that the baby it’s gonna born the 1th of December and its gonna be a girl called Sarah and it’s gonna be the 2nd granddaughter to my grand parents and they are so nervious and happy.

hello my name is Lucía Hernández and i going tolk about my grandfather, he bron 27th of Octber , have four brothers and any sisters ,his mother died of cancer when he was little, when she died he was send to study at a boarding school in Madrid, whe hw was studi in madrid two of his brothes whent to Basque Country and the little one stayed in the village, because he was still a baby, his paren maried whit another woman but they diden´t have any babys.

I am going to talk about my grandma.
Her name is Rosa and she was born in 1942.She lived in Córdoba with her parents and her i4 sisters until she was 20 years when she came to Madrid.
She is 75 years old now she has got 5 daughter and 1 son.

She has told me lots of things about her life and she thinks that life has changed a lot if we compare the past when she was 14 and the present .
For example she never had imagine that she would use a mobile phone or internet, something very normal nowadays for us.
When she was 14 she didn't go to school to work and tried to work in the countryside but she didn't like it.
For that reason she used to work as a babysitter but she wanted to be a hairdreasser .
At this age he was already in love with my Grandad. And one of the things she most liked was listening to flamenco music.

He´s name is Victor, he has 14 years old and is my best cousin because I can say all my problems and he help me.
I used to go to my town with he and go with all my friends and we play football and some times we play in my PS4 to the FIFA 17 and others games.

I´m going to talk about my grandmother.
She is the mother of my father, and she was born in 1927, in Galicia.
She lived in Lugo with her parents and her four siblings.
Then she get married with my grandfather and they worked at the countryside.
In 1973 my grandfather died, an she and my father come to Madrid.
She stars working here, and my father starts school.
They lived happy here, and in every christmas and every summer they went to visit Galicia and their relatives.
I think she is a very strong person, and I love her so much.
I met her every sunday, I like so much her potato omelette, and she is very kind, and she loves all her grandchilds.

my father: my father is like me physically, he has blond hair like and the same face that I am not very tall measures 1.75 m and gets angry easily. He is 47 years old was born on October 16, 1970 works as a mechanic in his own workshop, at home is very handy, everything that is broken fixes it. Hi I'm Sara and I'm going to talk about grandma, she was born the 13th of july in 1950 in a village of China.

She always says that the world has changed a lot.
Back in her days she took care of her brothers and sisters while their parents worked, she managed to cook, clean the house...etc

In her village there wasn´t school, so everyday she and her friends needed to do a long trip to another village to go to school.

Also she told me that she began to work when she was very young, she had to help her family economically, she worked the land.

In those times they didn't have toys to play with, so they play games in the fields. They didn't have any distractions like TV's or moviles, so they had a lot of free time, she remenbered that she and her family used to do together the dinner at New Year's Eve.

When she grow up, she met my grandpa trought some friends and they fell in love, and got married. They had four children including my mum.

Now a days she lives in USA.
I really enjoy hearing her histories about how was the life in the fifties, and she compares how much the world has changed.

In conclusion the world has changed in many ways, in some ways better and in same ways worst. Now almost everyone has a easy way to school, but now we don't really spend time with other people without looking at the movile phone.

Hi, I'm going to talk about my two grandparents because I can not choose who I want more. First I am going to talk about my grandfather, whose name is Demetrio, who is now 76 years old. He grew up in the field which when he was young he went out to graze the cows with his dog. When I was little I used to go with him to the park and he always played with me, and he also takes me to between now when I need him, he always helps me.
Now I'm going to start talking about my grandmother called Encarnacion, but we all call her lauren, well, I call her grandma. She also grew up in the country, and only when she was 15 years old, she started working as a nanny, until she was 18. As long as she can, like my grandfather, she helps people, and she cooks great. I love everything he cooks and he takes care of me a lot. For these reasons I can not choose between the two because I love them very much and I am always there and I will be with them since I have spent a lot of time with them and I do not regret it. I have the best grandparents in the world.

My grandfather loves football, he loves Valencia. One curious thing is that he can't watch the matches, he gets too nervous, so he hears them on the radio. I'm going to talk about my grandmother, my father's mother, her name is Montserrat Botet was born in Barcelona in 1933. She had three children, two girls and a boy, my father.
When she was young he went to work in Switzerland, where he met my grandfather, they got married in Barcelona and they came to work and live in Madrid.
My grandfather died in 2001
My grandmother currently lives in Madrid and does not work. She likes to dance and sing and she goes twice a week to dance, before she played badminton but he stopped because she don't liking and decided to go for dance.
I believe that my grandmother is a very strong woman because she managed to get her children out without her husband, she is very nice and is always laughing.

I am going to talk about my grandmother. Her name is Amor and she is 80 years old, she is a very good person. She is from Tarragona, but because of the civil war her family moved to Madrid when she has four years old. They were three siblings, her mother had one shop of ancient things.

When she was young she was a very good student, and because of that she wanted to become a doctor, but her parents, didn’t let her do what she wanted. She got so angry until the point that she wanted to become a nun. At the end she finished working on her mother’s shop.

She used to go on vacations to her parent’s village, called Gandesa.

She thinks that a lot of things have change since she was a child, both society and technology, but she is a person that can adapts very well to changes, she is a very modern person, she travel with her friends, she use WhatsApp. She love to read, her house is full of books.

She got married when she was 23 years old, and she has two daughters.

I am going to talk about my grandfather. He is called Ramón, he's 80 years old and he lives in Madrid. When he was young,he lived in a little village in castilla la mancha. he used to play " the strongs ", " the ball ", " the mask warrior ", " the triangle ", and other thipical games that we used to play.
When he was a child he usually studied the multiplying table, the spain rivers and subrivers, the provinces and some stories to learn the history of spain.
His hobby was to read: he read " Geromín, the son of Charles the V, or father Damian's life.
There weren't homeworks: he studied in his house and he was helped by his father in his studies.
He started working officialy when he was 8 years old, but he started working before that until the church asked him if he wanted to work in the church. He prefered the anvil. Obiously.
His favourite toys were the swords that he made in his anvil ( he usually played " the mask warrior ", so he was the warrior), the chess and relatives and the tops to play the " 10 cents " game.
For the three magic kings, he always asked a footbal and two gloves, because he didn't need more, he made his own toys in the anvil.
In the Joung Front, he loved playing ping pong, snucker , mini soccer and other table games.
Nowadays we usually play alone in the computers, or we play online, we go out not that often as in his ages, and we dont make our own toys. We start working when we are 18 years old.
We play video games instead of the strong or hte mask warrior.

I am going to talk about my grandfhater. His name is Eugenio, he is the father of my mom. He is 81 years old.
When he was young he used to go to school but only to primary, but now is mandatory to study ESO. During his youth he had got two girldfriends, my grandmother and other girl, but now is maybe imposible by de social networks, that know everything.
He used to work in the countryside and and after work he went home, and had particular math classes because he was going to inherit a store from his father; from my great grandfather.
He got married when he was around 23 years old whith my grandmother, and they have two daughters, my aunt Pilar, ans my mom Susana.
