It is adapted to life in extreme environments, with a thick fur and a long and thick tail for balance. Snow leopards have green or blue eyes and brown spots on a silver gray coat. They are solitary predators and mainly hunt sheep, goats and other mountain animals. Unfortunately, they are in danger of extinction due to hunting and habitat loss.
The lion tailed macaque, also known as the golden macaque, is a species of monkey that lives in the mountain forests of southwestern China and northern Vietnam. It is easily recognizable thanks to its long golden tail and golden yellow fur. Lion-tailed macaques are social animals and live in hierarchical groups. They feed mainly on fruits, leaves and insects. Unfortunately, they are threatened by habitat loss and hunting for their meat and organs, used in traditional medicine.
The lion tailed macaque and the snow leopard are two very different animal species. The lion-tailed macaque is a monkey that lives in the mountain forests of southwestern China and northern Vietnam, while the snow leopard is a large feline that lives in the mountains of Central Asia. Both species have unique adaptations for their environment. Both species are threatened by habitat loss and hunting, but for different reasons.
