This kind of fight happened all over in Taiwan at that time, the 林本源family was also caught up in it. So they sent the head coach of the family,徐才， and 12 of the family members to joined this fight, however all of them martyrdom.

In the end, 林國芳 built a temple for them which is Diyi Hall so that people can worship them.

Now,it is one of the four historic sites in Banqiao.

Every Sunday and Wednesday, from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Transportation:

1. MRT: Take the blue line to exit 1 of the Fuzhong station and walk for a few minutes.

2. Bus: Take the 806 bus to the Guanqian West Road Station.

First, you can see this picture is the shrine of the 12 warriors.

When we got there, what came into view is a temple that stood out from the other mordern buildings. The total space is not big, however, the enviorment inside is quite clean and historic, it made me feel like I'm back to Tainan. Beside, there was a big poster and some leaflets on the table, so that the visitors can clearly understand the information of Diyi Hall. During our visit, what left a strong impression is that the docent is very enthusiastic, not only did she give us a detailed explanation, but she also gave us cookies after hearing that we hadn't eaten breakfast yet, she was so kind and friendly. Lastly, we only took 20 minutes to finished our visit and clearly understood the history of Diyi Hall.

After our journey, I felt very appreciate that these historic site could be completely preserved, so that these ancient stele, buildings, and story could be passed down, however, it also reminds me the important of Sustainable Tourism. Under the protection of the ancients, Diyi Hall is still very intact, but it also needs the treasure and take care from this generation, like don't ruin it or enhance the exposure, so that more and more people can know this place, only this kind of Sustainable Tourism can truly practice the inheritance and protection of culture.
