The font I'm focusing on here is the store's logo: Vape STOP. I found this font on my walk back to my apartment after class. Vape shops mostly advertise to people attempting to quit smoking by suggesting that vaping is a safer option. They also advertise fun flavors to young adults and teenagers to try. The font used is super fluid and artsy, which leads me to believe the store is fun and welcoming to a younger audience. The font color is an eye-catching and vibrant red that catches the eyes of anybody walking by, whether they are interested in the product or not.

Kroger's logo is super unique and fun so I was excited to analyze this one. I found this one on my way back home. The white font pops out against the blue background which immediately catches the eye. The little streaks coming out of the k and the g in the logo are super fun and interesting. the loopy in the g also makes an image of a smile, something I only just now noticed while analyzing this (the eyes are the circles in the o and g and the smile is the streak on the bottom of the g!). Additionally, the font itself is super bubbly and rounded which adds to the appearance overall. The font is made to be very inviting to all audiences to show that Kroger is for anyone.

I'm unsure what Marc's agency is but it's been on the billboard outside my apartment since I moved here. I took this picture from my window. The green line outlining the NOW HIRING font catches the eye, emphasizing the urgency to be hired by this agency. Additionally, the font is bolded, further emphasizing this intent. The straight font also makes it look more professional which further advertises the job itself.

It's also bolded which further emphasized this very point. The color is a slightly darker hue than the water bottle itself which makes it look aesthetically pleasing, the very reason I liked this water bottle so much when I selected it for myself.

This font was found on my desk in my bedroom. This font is on the label for my candle. The gold coming off of the pink looks very pretty and aesthetically pleasing which may lead one to believe that this scent in itself is pretty. The golden color gives the impression that the candle's scent is elegant and expensive, just as gold is. The arcs coming off of the letters in this font further emphasize this elegant vibe, looking like it could be used as a font when describing someone of royalty or wealth status.

This font comes from the poster in my room which reads maneki neko. The font selected is popularly used for highly marketable characters in japan just like this lucky cat here. This is further sold by the japanese sun in the background. This font compliments the aesthetic for the poster which is why it was likely chosen even though being admittedly somewhat hard to read. the font of the kanji is also very stroke-y to likely reference the strokey-ness of japanese calligraphy and scroll art

The font of the title is super artsy and caught my attention right away. The font is so messy yet so clean. The font is not the most legible with the L and the S connecting along with the strokey-ness of the fomt but it is very interesting to look at. I also enjoy the yellow glow outlining the text and it helps it pop further and look more visually interesting.

This font is on the t shirt of a plushie in the VMFA gift shop. The font is bold and easy to read which makes it look professional like a museum should. The font is also super colorful which is to show that this is an art museum filled with a diverse art gallery. There is also a subheading below the logo letting the viewer know what the acronym stands for.

The picture was one i took quickly while i was moving through the vmfa gift shop but this is the polar express book. The font is golden and has serifs on the letters. These serif makes the font very legible and clear. It also makes the text look more classical and mature, looking similar to fonts seen on a newspaper. The gold of the title is also very eye catching.

This font comes from my cat’s litter called fresh step. The product is made to freshen the smell of the cat’s waste and conceal it. The deep blue surrounding the white font of fresh step gives it a very fresh and clean vibe. The font is very bold and eye catching especially against the deep blue too. The fonts below the logo are a mint green which further makes the product look fresh.

This font comes from the mint oreo thins packaging. The font for the word thins is large, long, and skinny, emphasizing that this is the thin version of an oreo cookie. The I is also replaced with an oreo thin cookie, giving the viewer an idea of what the cookie looks like and also emphasizing how thin it is. Below the thins logo, the flavor is stated as mint in a dark green color against a mint green background, making the flavor even more obvious. Oreo’s logo is memorable as a font that is bold, capitalized, and blue. It also looks like the word is fading into the background which adds to more interest to the font.

Bubble letters are often used to market to kids because its bold, round, and visually appealing. The red bubble letters are arguably equally as iconic and recognizable as hello kitty herself. The red coloring and black outline makes the font stand out and be memorable.
