  I like this because it is an interesting way to learn about the lives of people in history. Reading biographies can be boring, but I feel this will help students become more interested. 1. Make a word cloud of a math story problem.
4. Create word clouds using geometric shapes with vocabulary words to fit in those shapes. Since Wordle cannot do this you will need to use Tagul or Tagxedo.
I chose these because I hate word problems and geometry so if I can turn a math story and geometry into a word cloud I would enjoy it more so why wouldn't other students.

  1. When classifying parts of speech… make a word cloud for each classification. 
  2.  Create a word cloud and have students create a story from what they see in the cloud. They can then make a word cloud of their own story. 
These ideas are a great way for students to be creative and also use the work that they create as a reference.

They are both great options for a creative and fun way to learn more about mathematics using word clouds. Grammar is an important facet of essay writing. Seeing what words students use frequently can help them to expand and use other synonyms. Having a word cloud using similar words that they don't use will expand vocabulary.
