Technology can sometimes be used to criticize other people or make people think they are not good enough. I can relate to this situation as when I was 13, I had posted a Tiktok of my family and me during Christmas as we were all in Christmas pj's. A comment had appeared from an account reporting "Your family is lowkey ugly." I didn't need to respond to this comment due to not knowing who they were or caring. People use social media platforms to put down people ( not all people ) and make fun of their life. It is not right and there is not anything people could really do about it but encourage people to be nicer. One of the biggest problems I choose within society is technology because people can use it for social media, videogames, and social media in general can sometimes not be a good thing cause you end up seeing inappropriate things you're not supposed to. It can also cause you to be very lazy people can be on social media for hours just scrolling away wasting their own valuable time. I have experienced both of these things. I used to play video games for hours and be on social media for hours but know I can focus more on myself and things I want to improve on.

I think this topic arose when social media like snapchat, instagram, and tiktok became very popular. Many parents started to give their children phones at young ages, not giving them any restrictions or guidelines. These young kids get all the social media platforms, and watch, listen, wear, and see things way too mature for them. For example when I was 10 my clothes still matched, I played with barbie dolls, played outside, and played with my friends. Now when you see a 10 year old they are wearing crop tops, makeup, and have iphones.
