         <description><![CDATA[<p>The <strong><em>Government of India Act 1935</em></strong> was the last constitution of British India which split Burma.It lasted until 1947,when British territory was split into Pakistan and India </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>The British introduced this Act to win the support to modern nationalist and with the aim of <strong><em>maintaining continuity</em></strong> in their rule over the dominion of India </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>However, the act proved to be largely disappointing because it did not hold out assurance about granting dominion status.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Also the <strong><em>Government of India Act 1935 </em></strong>had introduced<strong><em> </em></strong>several features which later formed the nucleus of the present constitution<strong><em>.</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>The Government of India Act 1935</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>marks a watershed moment in the Constitution history of India. </em></strong></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This was an act, to make provision for the setting up in India of two  </p><p>independent Dominions, to substitute other provisions for certain  </p><p>provisions of the Government of India Act 1935, which apply outside those  </p><p>Dominions, and to provide for, other matters consequential on or connected  </p><p>with the setting up of the Dominions. </p><p>The Act was formulated together by UK Prime Minister Clement Attlee and  </p><p>the Governor-General of India Lord Mountbatten, after the representatives  </p><p>of the Indian National Congress, the Muslim League, and the Sikh  </p><p>community gave their consent to the Act. This act came to be known as  </p><p>the 3 June Plan or Mountbatten Plan.</p>]]></description>
