The teaching and learning environment is a nurturing space for developing minds. I observed Preschool. The preschool classroom is colorful with many toys. All furniture is made to fit kids so they feel most comfortable. In a preschool classroom you need lots of help. There is the main teacher and two paras if not 3 in the classroom at all times. The preschool room I am in is for kids that have a learning disability. Since this is the case there is a lot more hands on with the kids. The environment feels safe and secure.

A lot of visuals are used in the classroom. Also schedules is a big thing so kids don't get out of routine. There are some speech devices used as well.

I personally love working with these children. It gives you a different out look on life. Its definitely challenging but so much more rewarding. When they meet little milestones its amazing to witness.
