At the age of six, she went on an excursion to the Bannon Gymnastix gym, she was bored, so she imitated gymnasts from the back of the gym. 
Mrs. Ronnie saw her and called Aimee Boorman to see her. They sent a letter to their parents house encouraging them to enroll  her in a gymnastics school.
