In 1998 he published four articles on the state of the environment in Politiken, one of the main Danish newspapers that gave rise to an intense environmental debate in Denmark extending to all newspapers and generating more than 400 articles, comments and criticisms.

Lomborg decided to study more thoroughly the issue of environmental problems.

He is currently a professor at the Business School of Copenhagen.

-La Linea is the most polluted town in Spain , according to who the inhabitans believe that unemployment is worse than pollution.

-The 70.000 inhabitants of La Linea de la Concepción live boxed between Gibraltar and the most important industrial estate of Andalucia.

-La Linea  is situated between exhaust pipes and chimneys. With this enviroment , a recent report from the World Health Organization  who  has pointed to this location in the Campo of Gibraltar as having the worst air quality in the 46 Spanish cities analyzed. The problem of air quality is not new.

COMMENTARY

-La Linea de la Concepción is one of the most polluted towns due to poor air quality which i a big problem that has to be solved in some way or another. Some of the measures that could be used would be the use of public transport, more walking to the sites, the use of the bicycle…

-Ecologists in action support all citizen mobilizations of the Gibraltar field in health defense and in the fight against pollution.

-The response of the adminitration to this insustainable situation has always been to minimize the risk, to dismiss citizen complaints as insolvent and align with the polluting companies, claiming them a more improvement of the enviroment quality.

-The inhabitants of the Bay of Algeciras are tired of enduring so much pollution.It is time for the general mobilization and to affirm that we have arrived so far.

 

COMMENTARY

-The inhabitants of this town are tired of so much pollution and that the appropriate measures are not being  taken.The measures that have been taken for the last few years are not serving much because they do not take radical measures, but only talk to companies that pollute so that they try to contaminate a little less. These people are joining because they see that it is time to change this situation once and for all. 

The croquet regulation field is a level and very smooth rectangle covered with cut grass almost flush (maximum height not exceeding 6.5 mm or 0.25 inches) and which has dimensions of 32 meters long (35 yards) and 25 , 60 meters wide (28 yards). But smaller fields are possible as long as the ratio of 5 to 4 is maintained between its length and its width (garden croquet), although not suitable for competitive matches, it does allow playing croquet familiarly.

The croquet is played with a mallet, four balls, blue and black with red and yellow, in a field that contains six arcs and a central peg peg. It can be played in single or double, in this case each player of the couple will play with a certain ball during the game.

The number of players can be: 1 against 1 or 2 against 2.

The goal of croquet is to finish the pre-established route, with two balls and in the right direction, passing each bow twice (first in the first round and then back) and hitting the pin.

If a ball is sent off the field with a croquet throw, this does not necessarily imply the end of the round. After each shot the balls out of the field are put back in the game a yard away from the edge of the field at right angles to the spot from where it came out.

The match is won according to the case:

In the classic game, the winner must score 26 points (12 jumps of bows and pegs, each ball). After the game there always has to be a winner who has to play against all the losers.

In the game of 14 points, there is no way back, then each ball must cross only six small arcs and reach the pin.

You can also play against time: where the winner will be the player who scored the most points
