The song, Brave represents To Kill a Mockingbird because in the novel, Atticus, Jem, and Scout all showed their bravery in multiple ways. The song's main point is to know that it is bravery enables one to do so much more even when there are obstacles in the way. Atticus' bravery was shown when he decided to defend Tom Robinson in a case that faced racism. Jem and Scout were brave when the townspeople came to kill Tom and the two children stood in front of the county jail defending their father and Tom Robinson. The song Brave written by Sara Bareilles is a perfect example of a theme song for this novel.
