Just like moons and like suns,

With the certainty of tides,

Just like hopes springing high,

Icicles filled the long window   

With barbaric glass

At home in the fleet of ice-boats, sailing with the rest and tack- ing,

I do not know which to prefer,   

Or the beauty of innuendoes, 

The beauty of inflections 

Let the earth stabilize your postcolonial insecure jitters

Breathe the air but leave plenty after me
