Ask for help. Nobody is going to judge you for not understanding. If you’re uncomfortable, a simple email or private chat will suffice. Nobody is going to expose you for asking the question. In fact, you might be helping someone else who is also confused.

Don’t compare yourself to others. This is coming from an artist. It only serves to lower your self confidence.

Acknowledge the little accomplishments. Those little accomplishments can turn a bad day into a good one. You got out of bed! You drank water! You made it to class! Good job!

Take it one step at a time. It sounds harder than it really is. Break down your day. Your step by step could be as simple as “get to class, take notes, do homework.” Other days, it’s “get out of bed, go upstairs, make breakfast, eat breakfast, open iPad, go to Schoology,” so on so forth. Just go one step at a time.

Lastly, love people. Not just in an intimate relationship, just in general. Love is the most powerful thing that exists, so use it. It’s a natural thing you can do as a human, so put that feeling onto other humans. Even the smallest act can make a huge difference.
