Anna works as an engineer and Mitch is a high school teacher. Mitch has multiple sclerosis and might end up in a wheel chair. They want a house that will make their lives productive, safe and comfortable. They are planning to have a child within the next five years. They would like to have a space that can be used as an office if Mitch needs to grade papers or Anna is working from home. They would prefer if the design was unique, full of potential, fun and ideal for their eclectic taste and changing lifestyle. The house they bought is a historic, small craftsman style house. It has street parking for two vehicles, a small front yard and a side yard for a small garden. The backyard is a common area shared with several neighbors.
