Family, school,and finances.

FAMILY:
I am a mother of 2 toddlers and a wife of a police officer. I try to balance mom, teacher, supporter, provider, cleaner, counselor, and cook in my daily routine. It is hard to find enough hours in a day to get everything done.

SCHOOL:
By time time I am done taking care of my family; I need to find time for school work. It is stressful if my children had a rough day and I am so exhausted I can't even think about school work, or if they have trouble sleeping and I don't get my work done.

FINANCES:
Since COVID 19 has been going on, I recently quit my job, because I do not want to but my children back in daycare. This has become very stressful! We are now living off of one paycheck. It takes a lot of adjusting because it is not our norm, as a family.

FRESH AIR!
I try and go for a walk 1-2 times a day! The fresh air and psychical activity helps me clear my mind.

OPEN DIALOG
Communication is key to helping get through stressful situations. I talk to my husband about everything. Bottling up emotions is not healthy for anyone.

TIME MANAGEMENT
I feel stressed when I try and cram a lot of things into one day. The way I deal with this is routines and lists. I make a list of everything I want to get done that day. I have a routine for cleaning my house so I do not try and do it all in one day or avoid areas in the house.
