Based on a true story, drama. We liked the pace, it did not drag out scenes and days. Also liked that the author did the perspective of a child. It made us think about how it can be difficult for a child to adapt to the world after captivity and how much education is needed for children to adapt, as jack knew nothing and needed to be able to learn more. This book is about a mother and a son living in captivity for 7 years and how they got out into the world. Rating is 3.5 out of 5.

the genre of the book is realistic drama, it is written in a series of letters. I would recommend the book to young adults in general. if i were to rate the book i would give it a 3 out of 5, the book seems to drag on.

The Road is a okay book. There is only some important and interesting "scenes". The book ends how you would think it would end. It is mostly walking and talking.
