1. The visuals were extremely strange and disturbing, would not watch again. The song itself is ok.
2. The theme of the song is that kids are getting turned into conformists by school. This is directly supported by the kids on a conveyor belt falling into a meat processor and getting turned into mince. The masks that the kids wear represents the kids all being the exact same, saying that the school is squashing all the creativity and personality. this song could also be a comment on how todays school system was originally designed for factory workers, and needs to be changed. This is evident from the factory setting where the kids were getting moved around in.

1) I think the video was very intense. The beat of the song also matched that energy. I also found it a bit confusing because a lot is happening at once throughout the video.
2) I think one of the messages of the video is that everyone is equal. One of the lyrics says, "All in all you're just another brick in the wall." which means that everyone is the same. Furthermore, the students in the video are all treated the same, like some sort of machine, which also suggests the theme of everyone being equal

1. In my opinion I think the video was visually disturbing and the song did match the strange tone, I did recognize the song and did enjoy the beat, not the music video though.
2. I think the message was based on breaking the loop of the way the children are taught and how they destroyed the school, showing their hatred and anger. The masks show how the school wants all of the children to be the same, as the school wanting them to have all the same personality and education, not being able to express themselves through poetry or any other art form, not even physically.

A personal response to this video will be that i actually like it. Some thoughts that it provoked was that of the inefficiency of the school systems and how they restrict personal expression. I believe that the message behind this song is how the schooling systems focus on uniformity and restricts personal freedom. In the lyrics of "we don't need no education" this communicated an antieducation ideology (i don't know how to word that) as the students want to learn but in their own personal ways.

The music video was somewhat err. It effectively symbolized the school as a factory producing identical bricks. It indicates a school is not a place for knowledge and learning, but the place to shape students in the form adults want to. When students are placed on a convener belt, sitting down without motion, and falling into the grinder, students did not resist nor change their emotions. It indicates the emotionless, dreary atmosphere school gives.

I did like the song, I do think the music video did fit the lyrics and general idea of the song. The visuals were quite jarring and disturbing though.

2. I think the theme of the music video could be uniformity forced upon children. When it says "Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall." it is saying that no matter what they are being forced to conform because of the teachers.

In my opinion the message of this song is about the indecent treatment of children in schools in the past, and how educational facilities are trying to have children conforming with societal norms to ensure they contribute to society and don't make their own decisions.

1) I really enjoyed the video, it was engaging, and to an extent, relatable. It provoked a sense of anger over anything else. To elaborate, the video portrays how the school system, or on a wider scale, society - attempts to eradicate individualism - hence the title "another brick in the wall". As a student myself, one that feels the constant pressure to fit a certain mould; it definitely prompted frustration.

2) The video and lyrics arent necessarily "anti-education". The themes are more of; Loss of individualism, pressure to be perfect, control, conformity. Too much power can be dangerous and have ramifications on society, or in this context, students.

Overall, through the use of provoking visuals, rather transparent lyrics, dull/mundane characters and colours the theme is clearly conveyed. Though the video isn't necessarily about the school, using the education system as a conduit for the message is symbolic of how children, the next generation, are deprived of individuality.

1) I liked the video because it uses the setting and other interesting visual devices (the colors, camera angles and plot) wisely, in order to share the atmosphere with the watcher and utilize emotional appeal, which plays a big role in further persuasion.
2) I believe, that this song includes a lot of deep, philosophical messages and tries to highlight some global issues in educational model, besides we can hear references to "generation gap". During the song, we can hear some rhetorical devices: "We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom"
After listening to this song, one can rethink the educational system and the methods that are used to educate young generation.

1) The video highlights that education is highly restricted. The teachers shown in the video are portrayed as controlling authority figures that prevent the students from obtaining personal freedom. I liked the music but the visuals are strange.
2) As stated above, the music video portrays the controlling nature of the powerful figures. "All in all you're just another brick in the wall" These lyrics highlight that all students study the same content and are not given the freedom to study what they want.
