The Ascend Training was a journey which promoted deep self-insight and challenged me to identify the growth / opportunity between my self-assessment and the learning. An impacting lesson that resonated with me is that as a leader, my role extends outside of my core function and meeting my immediate deliverables, but rather I am responsible for taking a conscious step to grow value, support and promote innovation and change. As a leader I have access and means to exercise influence and enhance collaboration for all stakeholders. Ascend Training provided significant insight into my team beyond communication and progress, but creation of human capital committed to promote and support Cemex’s goals and objectives, as it’s aligned to theirs.
