Digital formative assessment tools collects and immediately provides you with data in contrast with having to evaluate each student’s paper. 

I personally like the tools that allow you to create quick checks/quizzes and in turn provides the students’ answers in an easy-to-read display -- socrative, quizalize, goformative, kahoot, mentimeter (although this one restricts the number of slides you can make unless you pay for a subscription)

In the future, I would like to use these tools in conjunction with Google Classroom.

In today's digital age, it becomes increasingly important for educators to adjust to students' ways of viewing the world, such as with assessing student learning in digital ways as opposed to merely relying on paper-pencil methods, which are soon becoming obsolete. For this reason, I plan on utilizing various digital tools in the classroom to drive instruction, if not daily, at least 3-4 times a week. These resources allow educators like myself to gather data that can be put to good use during lesson planning and during real-time instruction. Some of my favorite new tools include Quizalize, which is very much like Quizizz, a tool we already use at my school, and Answer Garden, a new polling/collaborating tool to get shy students to participate too.
