Cognitive skills were being displayed in this video. Symbolic play was shown when the children were playing. The children were using their imagination and in their minds they were creating a "real building" while playing with the blocks. Piaget says that the preoperational takes place during the preschool years. The egocentric thinking took my mind back to when I was a child growing up. I remember hiding from my mom. I had a robe that was my favorite thing to wear. I would put it over my head (just as a child did in the video) and I really thought I was invisible.

'When children are reaching the age of three years old their speaking is expanding. Children learn more that 14,000 new words. Children are learning how to form words, phonology is the process of them learning different sounds that work together to form words. Children began to learn about adjective and pronouns. The video ended so cute. There was a little girl by the name of Caroline talking about her adventure at the bowling alley. Listening to her you can notice that she does not know about verb tense and nouns. She was honestly telling about her activity.
