My grandfather who I called, Papi, always taught me to be humble, kind, and always share a smile to anyone, even if they weren't nice to me, because I just didn't know what they were going through.  When he passed away, his celebration of life was filled with many people that he encountered one point or another.  People flew from Europe to pay their respects.  This is something I live by everyday.  No matter what your religious beliefs are, or where you come from....we have to be kind, humble, because in the words of Maya  Angelou, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Even if my students forget what they learned in class, I never want them to forget that they were loved, even if they drove me up the wall. :)]]> 2023-05-13 13:14:52 UTC https://padlet.com/iselarodriguez/w9xvybli49azt1s7/wish/2589530196
