We went to Wilmington, NC to visit their beaches and see where One Tree Hill was filmed (if you guys are fans, I definitely recommend). We visited Wrightsville Beach, NC and Carolina Beach, NC. Wrightsville beach we visited at high tide so there wasn't much sand at the time to enjoy. Carolina beach we visited at low tide and it was an absolute dream!
