"Renaissance Period"

The Renaissance was a period in European history marking the transition from the Middle Ages to modernity and covering the 15th and 16th centuries. It occurred after the Crisis of the Late Middle Ages and was associated with great social change.  In addition to the standard periodization, proponents of a "long Renaissance" may put its beginning in the 14th century and its end in the 17th century. The traditional view focuses more on the early modern aspects of the Renaissance and argues that it was a break from the past, but many historians today focus more on its medieval aspects and argue that it was an extension of the Middle Ages.

Shakespeare was a prolific writer during the Elizabethan and Jacobean ages of British theatre (sometimes called the English Renaissance or the Early Modern Period). Shakespeare are perhaps his most enduring legacy, but they are not all he wrote. Shakespeare’s poems also remain popular to this day.

    English Literature Chaucer , who contributed greatly to the transformation of English into a written language, and whose work entitled Canterbury Stories is one of the authors who set the stage for the Renaissance in English literature. XVI, called the "Elizabethan Era". In the century, important works were revealed in theater and poetry genres. The most important theater writer of Renaissance English literature is Shakespeare. Shakespeare has written successfully in the genres of drama and comedy, using both verse, prose, and both together. Each of his plays consists of five acts. Almost all human dimensions such as grudge, love, friendship, ascension, revenge have not been studied in depth. His major dramas include Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, King Lear; Among his most important comedies are The Merchant of Venice, The Comedy of Mistakes. Marlowe and Ben Jonson are also among the important theater writers of the period. Edmund Spenser, the first great English poet, collected his pastoral poems in his works called The Shepherd's Calendar and an allegorical epic in his works called The Fairy Queen. The most important work of the son of the period, John Milton, who was successful in descriptions and spirit analyzes and attaches importance to style, is the epic of Paradise Lost from the Torah. The most important work of Bacon, which gives successful products in trial type like Montaigne, is Trials.
