Remembering Names:

1. One S Intruduces themsleves

2. Next S introduces the previous S and themselves

3. And so on (last student has to remember all the names)

1. One by one, S introduces themselves and makes a movement

2. Other SS greet them and copy movement

3. T asks if anyone remembers who was associated with each movement and their name

2. Elicit who he is (a gangster)

3. SS discuss his lifestyle (where he lives, car he drives, people he dates, hobbies, etc)

4. Write sentences on board

6. Elicit what has happened (arrrested)

7. Now elicit how we should talk about those habits now. (He used to smoke Cuban cigars)

8. Now rewrite all sentences with 'would'.

9. Elicit which aren't possible (those with stative verbs)

10. Elicit some stative vs non-stative - write them in columns

11. Now SS can interview each other to find 5 things in common using used to vs would - stuff from their childhood-: cartoons, games, etc.

Flash cards: organise into words I know, words I recognise, words I don’t know

Sticky ball game: put up a load of words on the board and ss throw the stick ball at a word and have to use it in a sentence

Fly swatters: swat the flashcard

Keeping note of their errors which you have corrected in class and present it to them on a future class and see if they remember the correct
