• Try to use a typeface where all members of the type family are present. NEVER use the computer’s version of italic; use the type designer’s version.
• Experiment using different typeface combinations (Paragraphs, captions, headings, etc.)  to See how the document looks and the various parts and sections work together. 
• Look for typefaces that are readable and fit the “mood” of the design.
