The Latin American Revolutions consisted of Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Their social system was a rigid class system. It was in the order of Peninsulares, Creoles, Mestizos, Mulattos, Africans, and finally Native Americans. They had many revolutions including the Haitian, Mexico, and Northern Latin America Revolutions. The Mexico Revolution was when Father Miguel Hidalgo recruited peasants to revolt against Spanish rule. The revolution failed because it was stopped by colonial authorities. After all the revolutions Creoles became at the top of the social classes.

Napoleon originally was in the French military. Over time he grew in rank, and eventually led a coup and overthrew the Directory. He crowed himself, emperor, in 1804 which many people did not like. Napoleon had several rules which were a major part of his rule. The Napoleonic Code was to spread some Enlightenment ideas across the people. He also wanted to spread nationalism and focus on the state and common culture. He conquered territories for France and led many wars called the Napoleonic Wars. Napoleon's downfall can be contributed to Russia. It started when Napoleon tried to invade Russia for not joining the Continental System. Russia used the scorched-earth policy which weakened Napoleon’s forces severely. After this, he was forced to abdicate and exiled to Elba. He returned to France but quickly surrendered at Waterloo which resulted in his exile again to St. Helena.

The Congress of Vienna happened from 1814 to 1815. It was when European leaders met in Vienna and Austria to re-establish order. The leader was Klemens von Metternich. Their goal was to undo the French Revolution and Napoleon's rule. The congress was made up of several elements. They wanted a balance of power to make sure that one nation is not too powerful by restoring monarchies, also known as conservatism. They were changing political boundaries by restoring France to pre-revolutionary boundaries and by the German Confederation replacing HRE.

All of these historic events have had a major impact on today's society. They all feed into each other, building off one another. How the Congress of Vienna was trying to undo the actions of Napoleon is a perfect example of this. Italy wouldn't be what it is today without the unification of Italy, neither would Latin America. In conclusion all of these events are still effecting the world today.
