The seeds in the apple represent how there are some differences. Like how the apple can change. After Asher dropped the apple several times, it got brused. It was not the same afterwards. Like how Jonas stole the apple or how his family now has one girl and 2 boys. Nothing in the utopia will stay the same. Nothing is perfect. Everything has at least one flaw. But trying to make things perfect will be difficult. The Giver has assignments for certain people and when you get that assignments they get they must stay that way they must be defined as their job. The sneetches that don't have stars are considered nobodies. With the assignments you are either really useful or not that important.

I don't think this is a good way to live because your past helps you determine your future. The community most likely doesn't have access to this because the other jobs are not as important as the receiver. Privacy isn't really needed for other people because the receiver is the only one who has this job. The giver gives memories. The title is significant because shows and teaches so much and gives more knowledge of the book.
