Reaction: 
The movie was similar in some ways but very very different in some sorts, we liked the book much better than the movie.

Similar:
-They have the same characters with the same personalities. 
-The kidnapping was the same. 

Differences:
-The Christmas scene was very different.
-Freak was bigger and brunette. 
-The chapters had different names. 
-Freak died on Christmas and did not go to the hospital.
