Welcome, game enthusiasts and curious minds, to our blog! Today we will explore the fascinating story of Elizabeth Magie, the brilliant mind behind the creation of the first Monopoly game.

In the late 19th century, Elizabeth Magie began working on a revolutionary game. She had always convinced an innovative board game concept to engage players in the world of economics.

At the beginning of the 20th century, people had already thought about the danger posed by large companies, which were becoming increasingly international. However, in 1930, Charles Darrow modified the look of the game. He changed some of its rules and renamed it Monopoly for the first time.

The invention of using a board game to explore economic inequalities was revolutionary. Therefore, we should keep this inventor in mind, as she inspired players all over the world.

So next time you meet around a Monopoly board, think of Elizabeth Magie for a moment.

Thank you very much for reading, you know I love to reveal the secrets of inventions. I will see you in a virtual meeting next week to talk about another woman who has revolutionized the world and who we should keep in mind in our daily lives.
