         <title>How does it work?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>First, the nucleus splits up, this process being called fission, involves the nucleus of the atoms splitting up to release energy. Next, fuel, which is usually uranium, which then goes through nuclear fission as well, breaking the bonds and releases energy.</p><p>Then, the heat generated by the nuclear fission warms a cooling agent, usually water.</p><p>Soon, the heated water produces steam, and lastly, the steam spins a turbine connected to a generator, which then produces electricity.</p>]]></description>

         <title>What are some Benefits and Drawbacks?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Benefits:</p><ol><li><p>Requires less space than other farms, like wind or solar farms.</p></li><li><p>A main reliable energy source, as they operate on maximum power over 92% of the time.</p></li><li><p>Nuclear energy does NOT produce carbon dioxide or any other greenhouse gas.</p></li></ol><p><br></p><p>Drawbacks:</p><ol><li><p>In some cases, when there is an accident in a nuclear powerplant, it can be catastrophic, like the Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters. (Nuclear power plant accidents.)</p></li><li><p>Building nuclear plants requires massive upfront investments and long construction times.</p></li><li><p>The technology and materials used in nuclear energy can be repurposed for weapons development, which is call Nuclear Proliferation.</p></li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Nuclear energy can affect the environment in both good, and bad ways. For instance, as already mentioned, nuclear energy has low greenhouse gas emissions, meaning it doesn't produce carbon dioxide. Although, it does create an impact on uranium mining. Extracting and refining uranium can lead to habitat destruction, groundwater contamination, and radiation exposure risks.</p>]]></description>
