My difficulties in learning Writing skills

Learning to write well can be tough, especially when it comes to grammar. One of the biggest challenges I face is understanding all the rules. There are so many details to remember, like when to use commas, apostrophes, and different verb tenses. Sometimes, I think I’ve got it right, only to find out later that I made a mistake. This can be frustrating because I want my writing to be clear and easy to read. I often struggle with subject-verb agreement, where the subject and verb need to match in number. For example, I sometimes write “the group are” instead of “the group is,” which makes my sentences sound wrong. Another issue is using the right words. I might mix up “there,” “their,” and “they’re,” which confuses my readers. I try to pay attention, but at the moment, it’s easy to overlook these small details. I also find punctuation the biggest challenge for me. Knowing where to put periods, commas, and quotation marks can change the meaning of a sentence, and I often second-guess myself. When I get feedback on my writing, I appreciate it, but I can feel discouraged when I see a lot of corrections. It makes me wonder if I’ll ever get better. Sometimes, I even avoid writing because I’m afraid of making mistakes. I know that practice is important, but the fear of making grammatical errors can hold me back. Additionally, time pressure can make it worse. When I have to write quickly, I tend to make more mistakes. Overall, the struggle with grammar often leaves me feeling frustrated, but I understand that improving my writing skills takes time and patience, and each error is a chance to learn, so I hope that with practice, I will get better and gain more confidence in my writing.
