On Chinese New Year my whole family gets together for the parade then we celebrate the New Year with family dinner and opening of Red Envelopes. 

Another tradition is when my family celebrates Thanksgiving. On Christmas eve my sister and I each get a chance to open 1-3 gifts that are already under the tree. 

We also have a tradition that on a family members birthday my sister and I will sing and dance together for the person. Since we all enjoy music it is always a lot of fun.

Another tradition is that we all eat dinner together as a family. During dinner we ether watch modern family or play a game like Scrabble or Uno. This allows us to all spend time with each other during dinner, since we don't spend most of the day together.
