The image below is a clear representation of this part of the sixth amendment. The accused has the right to a lawyer, if the accused cannot afford one the court will appoint them with one. Lawyers know everything there is to know about the justice system. By having a lawyer by our side, the people are protected.

The photo below represents this clause of the sixth amendment perfectly. What the clause states in further detail is that the accused has the right to a trial with a jury and an attorney. I think that this is important to the people because it provides citizens with a fair trial to insure that they don't get wrongfully charged.
