Envision: I am envisioning my process by writing out on the book where I plan on placing any paper figures I create. My project, once completed, will have paper structures on the book. That book will sit in front of a larger book which will present a picture of the sky during sunset as a background.

Understanding the Art World: I am taking inspiration from my classmates, as well as the paper projects in the hallway which was previously mentioned.

Engage and Persist: By looking for inspiration, I am viewing other possibilities of how to build the paper together. Such as creating what was once going to be a dolphin. I was folding paper and glued it together which unfortunately did not give it the ability to bend. So in the previous image posted, it demonstrates what resulted when I came up with a different solution.

I observed how the waves would look next to the pages and I decided to paint the waves blue as well so the project would flow. So far I like my project even though it looks kind of empty. Once I finish the book I plan on cutting out poster board for the base of the books. I am going to stretch and explore by creating oragami next class.

Today, I have noticed that the pages of my book that were painted blue are folding up. I plan to find a way to glue them down without ruining the layout of my project. Once I figure that out, I will try to find something heavy to flatten the book in order to attach the waves properly. From last class, I observed my project and made a realization that the fish that I created was way too long for the left page of the book. So, I decided to cut a majority of the round strips off so the animal would not take up most of the page, because it is not the main part of my project. Today I will begin the origami hopefully, considering the internet wasn't working well last class. If that doesn't work out, I will begin working on the background of my project in the meantime until I find another solution.
