Humans rely on natural resources for survival such food, clothing, and shelter. They are divided into two groups- renewable resources and nonrenewable resources. Renewable resources can be used over and over again. EX: energy from the sun and trees. Nonrenewable resources are resources that cannot be replaced. Most are found underground that are difficult to reach. EX: oil, coal, precious metals. Humans are constantly using resources, and as such will often go to great lengths to get them.
