For example, movies is a hard one because I love so many but I love old movies like The One Who Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and the godfather. Now for my interests, which include cooking and photography. Guitar used be in there but I just don't have the time anymore. Anyways, photography and cooking are 2 big passions for me that have developed recently and I've gotten better quickly, not trying to brag. Cooking actually allowed me to further explore my favorite types of food like sushi. It really put me out of my comfort zone because I had to live by myself for the first time in a dorm room, with a roommate who I didn't know, work with people I don't know, and all by myself in a new city I don't know. That plane ride to Houston was very nerve-racking but honestly, I loved it. I met great people that I still talk to and honestly the break from Miami and my parents was super refreshing. I went there for a summer program to find out more about the field I want to go into. We also sent an experiment up to the stratosphere via a weather balloon. I sent Play-Doh, which NASA paid for. I've gone from zero to almost as good as my dad. Personally can't wait to be better than him so I can rub it in his face but that's a story for another day. I hope to actually accomplish my goals like going to MIT and making a difference. My strengths are that I don't give up but that can also lead to me being stubborn which has stopped me before. And as you can probably see, I wasn't too happy during the photo. I don't have a problem with wearing a wig for a joke but I seriously didn't think it would be that uncomfortable. I had a rash on my cheek for a week after that. So the last of our money went to the cakes and we didn't have plates, then Ben took out his notebook and ripped paper to use as plates. Next up were utensils, luckily Jane collects utensils, don't ask why because I still don't know. Basically, it was a really good way to end the program and it really felt like we actually felt like university students.
