         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first president under the first reconstruction was Abraham Lincoln.Abraham Lincoln started planning for the reconstruction of the South during the Civil War as Union soldiers idled huge areas of the South, because of the racism growing. On December 18, 1865, Congress ratified the Thirteenth Amendment formally abolishing slavery.</div>]]></description>

From this idea, he created this plan . After Lincoln assassination it was his duty to finish the Reconstruction plan.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Georgia , along with other southern state responded to this plan by taking advantage of this moderate policy .However majority of the Southern states were infuriated with this plan/idea. Some southerners left the south, however they also built fractions. This would only lead to more racism. </div>]]></description>

It was then approved by a popular vote in June 1866. A quantity of former secessionists were barred from voting for constitutional delegates.</div>]]></description>

These Radical Republicans had a very hostile feeling towards the south.They were often critical of Lincoln, who they believed was too slow in freeing slaves and supporting their legal equality: that Abraham Lincoln was adverse in his  consideration toward slaves.</div>]]></description>
